JANUARY 2026 STATISTICS ANNOUNCED

In January 2026, Malta hosted 235,772 inbound tourists, an increase of +21.4% over the same month in 2025. Poland was the top source market with a share of 18.7%, followed by the UK and Italy. 68.4% of inbound tourists came from EU countries. Total expenditure reached €178.9 million, 25.5% more than in January 2025. Expenditure per night increased from €126.3 to €129.6.
