JANUARY-MAY 2026 STATISTICS PUBLISHED
Inbound tourists in the first five months of 2026 amounted to 1,673,602 (+17.9%), while total nights reached 9.2 million (+12.0%). Total tourist expenditure was estimated at €1,339.6 million (+14.7%), while expenditure per capita stood at €800. The top source market during this period was the UK with 20.7%, followed by Poland and Italy. 66% of inbound tourists came from the European Union.
