Malta Tourism Awards 2024 - Highlights

On 29th April 2025, the prestigious Malta Tourism Awards 2024 took place at the Westin Dragonara Resort, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to celebrate outstanding achievements in Malta’s dynamic tourism sector. Hosted by the Malta Tourism Authority, the event underscored the critical role of innovation, quality, and sustainable practices in shaping Malta as a leading international destination.

The Responsible Tourism Development Award spotlighted four standout organisations that are setting the benchmark for sustainability, digitalisation and upskilling—key pillars of Malta’s National Tourism Strategy 2021–2030.

 

Responsible Tourism Development Award - Best Visitor Attraction 2024

Tourism Worker of the Year Award

The awards also paid tribute to exceptional individuals making an impact in their respective roles. The Tourism Worker of the Year Award 2024 recognised six professionals who exemplify excellence in service, guest experience, and community involvement.
